The Seniors played their last League game of the season on Saturday and a defeat to Padraig Pearses saw them finish in 5th place. The Club would like to acknowledge the hard work of the players throughout the season and with a bit of luck we would be looking forward to a County Quarter-Final this weekend. Sincere thanks to Adrian Dockery and his Management Team, who worked extremely hard throughout the year and were a pleasure to work with. Let's hope that with the full commitment of the entire panel we can progress further next year. The Club also wish to thank Padraig Pearses for their hospitality before and after Saturday's game.
The U-12s were defeated by St. Barrys in the Shane Beirne Shield on Wednesday night.
Our U-10s played our neighbours Kilmore in an entertaining Blitz last Saturday morning. Coaching will continue on this Saturday morning and it is hoped that there will be more Blitzes over the coming weeks.
As part of the GAA Health and Wellbeing initiative the Club is planning to host a weekly session for people wishing to improve their fitness. More details will be published next week.
History was made on Sunday when the first competitive game was played on our new Training Pitch. The Under 14 Ladies Team had the honour of being the first team to play and congratulations to Lucy Fallon on being the first person to score there. We are delighted that the pitch has progressed to this stage and look forward to it being used for all training sessions next year.
