Two goals from Joseph Beirne and one from John King gave the U21s a comfortable 3-13 to 1-4 win over Tulsk in the County Semi-Final. They will face Oran in the Final on Sunday week. Best of luck to the Juniors against St. Aidans in the County Semi-Final on Friday at 8:30pm in Kilbride and the U20s against St. Dominics in the County Final on Sunday at 3pm in the Orchard. Your support in these two games would be much appreciated. This Sunday sees the culmination of the Club's “Couch to 5k Challenge” and the fruits of 10 weeks of hard work for the group with a 5km Run / Walk, which is open to everyone. Registration will take place from 12.15pm at the Mart and the entry fees are as follows: Adults €10, Children €5 and a special rate of €20 for Families. The route comprises of two laps around the town/block with the finish line at An Bothar Rua, where refreshments will be served. There will be Prizes for the first Adults, U12, U18 and the first family home and all are welcome to what should be an enjoyable event.
The Club is hosting an Award One Coaching Course (the follow-up to Foundation Level) on this Friday evening, continuing on Saturday from 10am – 4pm and concluding on Saturday 12th. There was no winner of Saturday's Club Lotto jackpot, Numbers Drawn 9, 15, 23, 27. The Lucky Dip Winners of €25 were Brendan & Carmel Beirne; Christopher Glancy; Adrian Donoghue and John Gill. The Jackpot is now worth €4,700 and Saturday's Draw will take place in Oliver's Bar.
