Elphin GAA Membership
All players at all levels are reminded that they must renew their Membership before being eligible to play. For more information contact Geraldine on 086 3258222. Parents who have not yet returned Consent Forms are asked to do so as soon as possible.
Results and Fixtures
The Elphin-Ballinameen U-16s play Boyle this evening at 6:45pm in Abbey Park. Players are asked to be at the venue for 6:10pm. On Saturday they will host Kilglass Gaels-St Barrys in The Orchard at 5pm. The Elphin-Ballianmeen U-14s were defeated by St Aidans on a scoreline of 7-7 to 3-8.
Nursery Programme
Coaching commences for the U-6s, U-8s and also the U-10 Groups on Saturday at 10am in the Orchard. All players must wear a Mouthguard in order to train and play.
Scór
Well done to our Scór Table Quiz and Leiriu Teams who competed in the All-Ireland Finals in the INEC Killarney last Saturday. Although no titles were won they represented the Community with distinction.
County Players
It was a mixed weekend for our inter-county representatives. Aaron, Luke and the Roscommon Minors were defeated by Galway in the Connacht League. Austin and the U-21s were defeated by Mayo and Fintan and the Seniors were defeated by Dublin. Well done to Lauren Shanagher and the County Ladies U-14s on their big win over Leitrim in the Connacht Championship.
Best of luck to Aaron, Luke and the Roscommon Minors against Leitrim in Carrick on Saturday at 5:30pm and Fintan and the Roscommon Seniors against Kerry in the Allianz League Semi-Final on Sunday at 2pm in Croke Park.
Condolences
The Club extends its sympathies to the Beirne family Clogherbeg on the death of Marty and the Donlon family Carnular on the death of Patsy. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot. The Lucky Dip winners were P. Rodgers c/o Timmys, Martha Gunn, Rossa O’Callaghan and John Glancy. This weekend’s Draw will take place in Timmys and the Jackpot stands at €6,500. Play now at locallotto.ie
