Club News update June 28th

Elphin B 5-4 St Brigids B 0-9

The Juniors defeated St Brigids in the League with fine performances from John and Conor Sweeney, Frankie Cregg and Man of the Match Martin McCaffrey. This Friday they host Clann na nGael C in the Championship at 8pm.

Best of luck to the Seniors against Charlestown in the Leo Kenny Cup Semi-Final this evening (Tuesday) at 7:30pm in the Connacht GAA Centre. On Saturday they face St Brigids in the League at 7pm in Kiltoom.

Best of luck to Aaron, Luke and the Roscommon Minors against Galway tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7:30pm in Kiltoom.

Elphin-Ballinameen Round-up

The Elphin-Ballinameen U-16s received a walk-over from Éire Óg in their first Championship game. Training continues on Thursday at 6:30pm ahead of Saturday’s game away to Kilbride, which throws in at 7:30pm.

Well done to the U-14s who put in a fine display in the Connacht Feile on Saturday. They defeated Swinford and Clifden and narrowly lost to Davitts. Last Thursday they defeated St Michaels in the Championship by 3-6 to 0-8.

Elphin-Ballinameen will have two teams in the upcoming U-12 Summer League. The team Management thank Elphin Minor Secretary Tamara Beirne for her assistance in organising same.

The latest U-10 Blitz series will be held in the Orchard on Saturday at 11am. Boyle, Strokestown, Castlerea St Kevins and Kilmore will be visiting.

Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camp

A Camp will be held in the Orchard from July 11th to 15th. The cost if €55 per child and includes Gear and a Backpack. There are discounts for the 2nd and subsequent child from the same family. Find out more or book a place at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie

Elphin GAA Lotto

There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3, 10, 15 and 19. The Lucky Dip winners were Aisling Rock, Longford; Paul Dorr, Kilmaryal; Vickie Cove, Main St; Mick Oates, Newline Terrace. This week’s Draw will be held in Olivers and the Jackpot will be €7,700.
