Well done to the Seniors on defeating Western Gaels in the Championship last Sunday. They host Padraig Pearses in the League on Sunday at 12pm.

Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
The Elphin-Ballinameen Minors defeated Roscommon Gaels by 4-5 to 1-10 on Tuesday evening. They host Oran on Monday at 7:30pm – note change of date.
The U-16s host Boyle in the Championship on Saturday at 7:30pm.
The U-14s are away to St Aidans in the Championship on Friday at 7:30pm.
An under strength U-12 A team, missing approximately 12 players, were defeated by Oran on a scoreline of 2-4 to 4-11. Despite the defeat there were some fine performances. John Anthony Quinn played great and was ably assisted by Alex Kielty, Colin McGrath, John Finnerty, Sam and Jude O’Rourke, Daniel Christie and Adam Dwyer. It was great to see young lads who star for the Division 6 Team grasp their opportunity of playing in Division 2 with both hands. Well done to all.
The U-12 B team defeated Western Gaels B by 1-11 to 1-1 on Monday evening. More to follow.
Both U-12 teams host St Dominics B on Saturday – the A team play at 12pm and the B team play at 1:15pm.
The U-10s played their last Blitz in Kilmore last Saturday. Thank you to Kilmore for their hospitality. U-8 and U-10 Coaching continues on Saturday at 10am.
The U-8s play in the County GoGames Blitz on Saturday August 27th in the Connacht GAA Centre, Bekan, Ballyhaunis. The event will get under way at 10am and players are asked to be there for 9:40am.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 1, 7, 10 and 29. The Lucky Dip winners were Gerry Callaghan (Boyle), David Hynes, John Keane and Daire Neary. The Jackpot is now worth €8,400 and this week’s Draw will be held in The Tower Inn. You can play on-line here .
