Social and Presentation Night

Our Club Social Night took place last Thursday and featured the presentation of Player of the Year Awards and Medals to the Elphin-Ballinameen U-20 Championship winning team. The individual Award winners were as follows: Senior Player of the Year – Gerry Cregg; Senior Breakthrough Player of the Year – Nessan Lenehan; Junior Player of the Year – Dylan Beirne; Junior Breakthrough Player of the Year – Dylan Shanagher; Under 20 Player of the Year – Luke Mollahan; Elphin-Ballinameen Under 20 Player’s Player of the Year – Conor Egan. Thank you to Kevin McStay for making the presentations and for his kind words on the night. Thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and our hosts An Bothar Rua.

Condolences

The Club extends its sympathy to the Beirne family, Caldra, on the passing of Benny. Ar deis Dé go raibh a anam.

Scór

Best of luck to our Scór na nÓg Quiz Team in the County Final on Thursday at 8pm in Kilbride.

County players

We have a four players representing Roscommon this weekend: On Saturday Aidan Murray, Nessan Lenehan and the U-21s take on Westmeath in the Hastings Cup at 2pm in Kiltoom and on Sunday Fintan Cregg, Shane Killoran and the Roscommon Seniors take on IT Sligo in the FBD League at 2pm in Boyle. Elphin GAA Lotto

There was no winner of the Christmas Eve Club Lotto Jackpot. The Numbers drawn were 12, 13, 20 and 28. The €25 winners were Adrian & Deirdre Kielty; Gordon Murray; Meta Brady, USA; Madeline Flanagan.

The latest Draw took place on New Year’s night and there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 23 and 28. The Lucky Dip winners were Trisha Ryan, Ballinameen; Patricia Travers, Kevin Farrell, Coman and Joanne Brady. The Jackpot now stands at €10,300.
