Despite not taking the title our Scór na nÓg Quiz Team of Conor Gunn, Emmet Keane, Luke and Evan Gunn did the Club proud in the All-Ireland Final last Saturday in Belfast.
Elphin-Ballinameen update
Well done to the Elphin-Ballinameen Minors on their 0-11 to 0-3 win over St Faithleachs in Ballyleague on Sunday. Training continues on Wednesday at 7pm.
Best of luck to the U-16s away to Castlerea St Kevins on Sunday at 11am.
Tickets for the National GAA Draw must be returned to Officers by Monday next, February 20th.
The Agility, Balance, Coordination (ABC) programme for 5-8 year olds begins this Saturday from 10-11am in the Elphin Community Centre.
All children in the parishes are welcome to attend and registrations will be accepted on the day.
Elphin GAA Membership
Membership Fees are now due and players must renew before they play a match. The rates for 2017 are as follows: Family (Adults and all School-going children) €100, Adult Player €50, Third Level Player €30, Underage player €20 and non-playing Adult €30. Senior, Junior and Minor Team players are reminded the Membership Forms can be downloaded here: Full Member Form or Youth Member Form and will be collected at training this week. Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 2, 10, 17 and 21. The lucky dip winners were Tommy Joe McDermott, Liam Butler, Shane Beirne (Lisgarve) and James Callery (Coolmeen). This week’s Jackpot now stands at €11,000 and Saturday’s Draw will be held in Timmys. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.
