Elphin GAA Social Night

The Club are hosting a Social Night this Saturday, March 4th, in An Bothar Rua from 9:30pm. There will be Fun and Games, Music and Quizzes and all are welcome.

Adult Football Round-up

The Juniors suffered a 0-12 to 2-12 defeat to Clann na nGael B in the League on Friday night. The concession of two early goals meant that the lads were playing catch-up throughout.

Best of luck to Fintan, Shane and the Roscommon Seniors against Kerry on Sunday at 2pm in Dr Hyde Park.

Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up

Training for the Elphin-Ballinameen Minors continues tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm and Saturdays at 11am. On Sunday they host St Ciarans at 11am and all support would be appreciated.

The Elphin-Ballinameen U14 are away to Castlerea St Kevins in their League opener on Saturday at 3:30pm. The U16s game was cancelled due to unplayable pitches.

This Saturday’s ABC programme for 5-8 year olds, returns to the usual time of 10-11am in the Elphin Community Centre.

Coaching

Anyone wishing to take the Award One Coaching Course should contact Peter Carney.

A Coaches Meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Friday at 8pm and all Coaches are requested to attend.

Elphin GAA Membership

Membership Fees are now due and players must renew before they play a match. The rates for 2017 are as follows: Family (Adults and all School-going children) €100, Adult Player €50, Third Level Player €30, Underage player €20 and non-playing Adult €30. Senior, Junior and Minor Team players are reminded the Membership Forms can be downloaded here: Full Member Form or Youth Member Form and will be collected at training this week. There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 3, 13, 14 and 20. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Shane Farrell; Eileen Sweeney; Tom Burke, Meath and Eamon McCormack, New York. This week’s Jackpot now stands at €11,200 and Saturday’s Draw will be held in An Bothar Rua. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.
