Club News Update September 18th

Best of luck to the Seniors against Kilmore in the Division One League Relegation Play-off on Sunday at 2pm in The Orchard. Your support would be appreciated.

Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up:

The Minors drew with St Dominics 2-5 to 0-11.

The U16s were defeated by Padraig Pearses in their Championship play-off and that concludes their season.

The U12s suffered defeats to St Aidans and Michael Glaveys in the last games of the group stage of the Summer League. They host St Croans on Wednesday at 6:30pm. Well done to everyone who participated in the regional skills competition held in the Orchard this evening (Monday).

Both U14 Teams are in Shield Final action in Knockcroghery on Sunday evening. The A Team take on Clann na nGael at 4:30pm and the B Team meet St Brigids at 6pm. Best of luck to all involved.

Elphin GAA Lotto:

There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 12 and 18. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Sarah Keane, John Gannon, Padraig McDermott (Clooneybrennan) and Peter Scott. The Jackpot now stands at €3,000 and this week’s Draw will be held in The Central Bar. Entry is just €2 and Envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.

Third Level Bursary Scheme

Third Level Students who are active participants in their Higher Education club are encouraged to apply for the GAA National Student Bursary scheme.
