Club News Update September 4th

Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up:

The Elphin-Ballinameen Minors host St Dominics in the Championship on Monday September 11th at 7pm in the Orchard.

The U-14 A Team suffered a 2-2 to 2-7 defeat to St Aidans. They will face Oran in the Shield Semi-Final on Thursday at 7pm in Rockfield.

A great day was had by all at the U12 Blitz organised in conjunction with the Bank of Ireland Enterprise town event. Elphin-Ballinameen, Kilmore, Shannon Gaels and Tulsk competed in the Boys Blitz and Elphin-Kilmore, Boyle and Shannon Gaels competed in the Girls Blitz. All participants were presented with Medals by Tyrone Manager and Bank of Ireland Ambassador Mickey Harte.
Thank you to all the teams that took part, to Bank of Ireland for sponsoring the event and to everyone who helped prepare the pitches, run the matches and provided refreshments.

Elphin GAA Lotto:

There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 9 and 12. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Derek Connellan, Kathleen Neary, Gerry Connellan, Mick Nerney (Cloonboyogue). The Jackpot now stands at €2,800 and this weekend’s Draw will be held in The Tower Inn. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.

Condolences

The Club extends its sympathy to the Staunton family, Edenaun on the passing of Gertie and the Mulleady family, Windmill Road, on the passing of Myra. Ar dheis dé go raibh a n-anamacha dílis.
