Well done to the Seniors and management on their 3.08 to 1.12 win against Michael Glaveys on Sunday in Boyle.
The Junior B’s are out on Sunday next against Kilbride in the championship at 2pm in the Orchard Park.
Elphin/Ballinameen Round-up
The Elphin – Ballinameen U16s played Oran on Wednesday last and won the game 9-5 to 5-9. They are now straight through to the League final after winning all of their games. Well done to the team and management.
Elphin/Ballinameen U14’s were involved in a ding dong battle against Kimore/Shannon Gaels/St Ronans,despite missing a few players,all coped admirably,eventually losing on a scoreline of 5-4 v 2-4. Best for Elphin/Ballinameen were Daniel Christie, Henry Dowd, Darragh Gilligan, John Finnerty, Casey Durr, Sam & Jude O Rourke. The next game is against Western Gaels in Frenchpark,.date to be announced.
The U12’s lost out to a much stronger Shannon Gaels team on Saturday and will now play St. Aidan’s in the Orchard at 12pm on Saturday.
Training for all U6, U8 and U10 continues on Saturday morning at 10am in the Orchard. All children in parishes are welcome.
Elphin LGFA
Our U12 girls played their final game in the Northern League Sunday away to Ballinameen. The U12 Championship kicks off next Sunday 29th April with a home game v Strokestown at 6pm. Wishing these girls the very best of luck.
U16 Championship Division 1 game v Padraig Pearses Sunday 29th April at home at 4pm.
U8 & U10 training continues Thursdays at 6pm and U14 on Saturdays at 11.15am both in the Orchard.
All players need to be registered in order to play, so if you haven’t already done so please contact John Keane or Triona Higgins for registration forms.
