Elphin Lights Up!
Do you want to get moving and active this New Year, but you have nowhere to go? Do you find it hard to find a safe and well-lit area to go for a walk during the dark winter months? Well, we have the answer! Elphin GAA is coming on board with Operation Transformation and the GAA for Ireland Lights Up. Every Thursday from the 17th January – 21st February 2019 our club will be open and lit up for you, your family and friends to come and walk from 7pm to 8.30pm. All you need to do is sign in and your ready to go! Sign in will take place in the clubrooms in the Orchard from 7 – 7.30pm every Thursday for the 6 weeks, if you wish to warm up we will also be providing a light warm up session in the stand at 7.15. We would also ask that people who would like to participate would park there cars outside the gates of the Orchard as this would then make a more safer environment to walk in. You can walk or run and can say for length of time you wish! Everybody in the community is welcome to take part, you do not need to be a member of the club and all ages is welcome! We look forward to seeing you all there!
