Elphin GAA

Happy New Year! (and the Elphin GAA News Update 4/1/21)

The Club would like to wish our members sponsors and community a safe and happy new year.

As Covid-19 cases are again on the increase we urge everyone to please stay safe and to adhere to the government restrictions in place. Contact information available on our social media for businesses and shops in the area for anyone who needs them.

In light of the increased Covid-19 restrictions which were announced by the Government last night, our New Year’s Eve Draw sadly couldn’t take place. We will run the draw as soon as we can do so in a fully compliant manner. The timing of the rearranged draw will be dependent on the easing of the current restrictions which seems likely to be sometime after the end of January 2021. We will keep the situation under review and will provide a further update on the timing of draw towards the end of January. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this postponement which, unfortunately, is totally outside our control. A big thank you to everyone who has purchased and sold tickets figures as to what was raised will be available in the coming weeks.
