Our Underage Rounders team participated in their first Under 14 Connacht Provincial tournament at Breaffy GAA Grounds last Saturday. Although a young team who will be all under 14 again next year, the Elphin boys showed great enthusiasm, had a positive attitude and worked hard throughout all their games beating 2 teams to make it to the Connacht Final. The boys faced Kilmore in the final losing out by 1 run. Elphin battled to the bitter end showing excellent fielding and batting skills. Well done to this fantastic team who has now qualified for the All-Ireland Finals.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-Up
Thank you to Kilbride GAA Club who played our U10 team and to St. Brigids GAA Club who played two great U12 games during the week.
Well done to our U14 team who had a good win over Tulsk in their final league game and also to our Minor Team who had a good win over Tulsk.
Our Minor team continue their league campaign against St. Ciaran’s on Thursday evening in Elphin.
