We are delighted to say that Saturday August 17th will be our Là na gClub day for 2024.
Là na gClub is a national day that champions our clubs and communities, the lifeblood of our Gaelic Games. It’s an opportunity to celebrate and thank our incredible volunteers, while welcoming members and newcomers to the club for a fun-filled day out.
One of the highlights of the day will be Elphin/Ballinameen U10 team and Northern Harps U10 team who will take part in a blitz, involving teams from Roscommon, Galway, Leitrim and Rockland GAA Club from New York. Over the next few weeks we’ll be providing more details of the day, so please keep Saturday the 17th of August free.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
Well done to the Minor team who had a good win over St. Brigids in the first round of the Championship, and well done also to our U16 team who had a good win over St. Ciarans. Hard luck to our U14 team who lost out to St. Michaels/St. Ronan’s in the first round of the Championship.
Thank you to Tulsk who hosted our U8 teams on Sunday evening and Shannon Gaels who hosted our U10 teams on Wednesday evening.
Thank you to Roscommon Coaching and Games for organising the U12 and U10 Summer series of games in Hyde Park. Our U12 teams had great games against St. Brigids on Sunday, and our U10 teams had great games against St. Michaels and Kilmore on Saturday.
Good luck to our U16 team who play Boyle in the second round of the Championship on Monday evening and good luck to our minor team who play St. Michaels/St. Ronans on Thursday evening.
