Sports Capital Grants Announced
The club is delighted to receive Sports Capital Grant approval for €174,411. This is a really significant boost to our ambitious development plans for The Orchard. These include a new fully-seated spectator stand (under construction), sensory garden (under construction), astro turf pitch with flood lighting, upgraded fencing around the main pitch, walkway around the entire park, extension to our clubrooms to include new toilets and finally road and car parking resurfacing.
This work will help us to provide top class sporting and recreational facilities to our members, the local community and visitors from near and far. We look forward to continuing our work over the next few years. Details of the fundraising needed to part-fund our plans will be released in the New Year

Rounders Team Win Ulster Provincial
Huge congratulations to our Mixed Rounders team who were victorious in Monaghan on Saturday, winning the Ulster Provincial Cup. They beat Innishkeen of Monaghan in the Semi-Final to face the local team of Kilmore in the Final.
Elphin produced some great batting and excellent fielding topped off with some fantastic pitching to secure the game. Well done to all the players involved.
The Ladies’ team also displayed some great skill on the day and progressed to the Cup Semi-Final where they were beaten by Inniskeen. The first day out for some of these ladies but they showed good skill and determination on the day. Well done to the ladies team. A real team effort by both teams.
