A huge congratulations and well done to the Elphin Ladies Rounders team who have qualified for the All-Ireland Final on August 31st in Meath. A huge achievement for the ladies and all the Elphin Rounders Club. The ladies defeated Castletown Liam Mellows from Wexford with a score line of 11 v 2 with a bat in hand. A big thank you to everyone who has shown support to the ladies so far. Please keep an eye on social media for further details of the Final.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
Thank you to St Michael’s/St Ronan’s, who hosted our minor team this week in a challenge game. Well done to our U12 team who had wins over St Ciaran’s and Padraig Pearses last week.
Condolences
Elphin GAA Club extend our sincere sympathy to the family of the late Don Connellan who passed away last week. To Don’s wife Linda, sons Eoin and Conor, mother Nellie, brothers Adrian and David and the extended Connellan and Clancy families and Kilmore GAA. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad and difficult time. May Don rest in peace.
Senior Championship
Our Seniors take on Michael Glaveys on Sunday next in Peader Earley Memorial Park at 1 PM in the 2nd round of the championship. Best of luck to the team and management.
