Our seniors take on Clan na nGael in the county quarter-finals at 2 pm in Strokestown on Sunday, and the Juniors are playing the rescheduled round 2 game v Padraig Pearses away in Woodmount on Friday at 8 pm. Elphin-Ballinameen Round-up
Thank you to St. Michael’s GAA Club, who hosted our U10 team in a fantastic blitz on Saturday morning.
Well done to our U12 teams who had a win and a loss in games against St. Michael’s/St. Ronan’s. Well done to our U16 team, who had a nail-biting win over Kilglass/St. Barry’s in their final group game of the championship. Well done to our Minor team, who beat Strokestown in their final group game of the Championship. This team have now qualified for a home championship semi-final. Hard luck to our U16 team, who were defeated by Padraig Pearses in the championship semi-final on Monday evening.
Best of luck also to the U14 team who play St. Aidan’s in Ballyforan on Thursday at 7 pm in the championship shield semi-final. Your support for all our underage teams as they reach the business end of their championships is appreciated.
