It’s the second round of the adult leagues this weekend. Our seniors take on Fuerty on Sunday at 11 am in Fuerty, while our juniors take on St Barrys on Saturday at 4 pm in the Orchard. Best of luck to both teams, and please come along and support.
Elphin/Ballinameen GAA Nursery
The nursery takes place in Elphin Hall on Saturdays. The session for Children born from 2020 to 2022 is from 4 to 5 pm, and Children born from 2018 to 2019 is from 5 to 6 pm. It’s €3 per child, and everyone is welcome!
Scór Sinsir Finals
The club takes part in the County Final of Scor Sinsir this Saturday night in Kilmurry Hall. Our quiz team kicks off proceedings at 5.30 pm, followed by our stage competitors at 7 pm. Elphin will be represented in Solo Singing, Novelty Act, Music Group and Set Dancing. Wishing all our representatives the very best of luck! Please come along and support.
Fun Run on Saturday
The Annual 8km/5km Run/Walk in Aid of Down Syndrome Roscommon takes place on Saturday at 1 pm. Registration from 12 noon in the Orchard. Entry is €10 or €20 for a family. Also, a new 500m fun run/walk for people with additional needs will be happening this year – it’s a flat race on the footpath. Please come along and support this worthy cause.
Rounders Round-Up
A number of the Elphin Ladies and Men’s Rounders teams are taking part in the Connacht Interprovincial Trials. We wish them the very best of luck. Training continues weekly, and new members are always welcome. No experience is necessary, and if you are interested in joining or would like more information, please contact Pauline on 086 377 5904.
