Roscommon GAA are offering six prizes in their annual Gaeltacht Grant Competition.
The competition is open to secondary school students who are members of GAA clubs in County Roscommon. Two of the Prizes are confined to students who competed in Scór this season and three of the prizes are sponsored by Colaiste Cu Chulainn in Gweedore.
To enter students must complete this application form and write a 300 word essay ‘as gaeilge’ with the title ‘an Cumann Luthcleas Gael agus Daoine Oga’.

Rules
– This year there will be six scholarships of €300 with two confined to entrants who have competed in Scór/Scór na nÓg competitions
– All entrants must be members of a GAA Club in Co. Roscommon and a secondary School student in 2016/17 school year.
– Three of the scholarships are sponsored by and are confined to Colaiste Cu Chulainn in Gweedore. Courses in Gweedore are €595 and last for two weeks.
– Successful entrants in 2015/2016 are not eligible to enter in 2017.
– Entries must be emailed to the cultural officer at [email protected] or dropped in/posted to the Roscommon GAA Offices, Racecourse Road, Roscommon to arrive by Friday April 28th.
– There is no cash alternative to the scholarship and successful candidates will have to complete a Gaeltacht summer course to receive the grant.
– The Decision of the committee is final.
