Congratulations to the Under 21s on their 3-7 to 1-10 win over Oran in the B Championship Final. Two goals from Aidan Murray and one from Austin Kielty helped secure what is believed to be the first title at the grade since 1981. Thank you to the players, Peter Carney, Mick Maye and the Backroom Team for their hard work over the past few months. Best of luck to Micheál Gunn who was appointed as Roscommon GAA Cultural Officer at Saturday's Convention and Abbeycartron NS Teacher Hugh Lynn who takes over as County PRO following the completion of Colm Beirne's five year term.
Well done to the 12 Coaches from the Club who successfully completed their Award One Coaching Course on Saturday. Thank you to Peter Carney and the Connacht Tutors and also Club Coaching Officer Iggy Geraghty, who organised the course and provided refreshments.
