Congratulations to our Scór na nÓg Quiz Team of Conor Gunn, Emmet Keane, Luke and Evan Gunn who won their third County title in a row. They will now represent Roscommon in the All-Ireland Final in Belfast next month.

Well done to Shane Killoran on scoring 1-2 on his first competitive start for the Roscommon Seniors. Best of luck to Aidan, Nessan and the Roscommon U21s away to Longford on Friday night and Fintan, Shane and the Roscommon Seniors against NUI Galway on Sunday at 2pm in Ballyforan.
Michael O’Callaghan Cup
Thank you to everyone who participated in and attended the annual Michael O’Callaghan Cup game on St Stephen’s Day. In what was a very exciting game the over 25s team won with a last minute point. Thank you also to An Bothar Rua for hosting the post match presentation and the U20 team for providing signed Jerseys for the Raffle. Funds from the day are being shared with Mayo-Roscommon Hospice and a presentation will be made shortly.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 16, 19, 24 and 26. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Darragh McQuaid, Carrick on Shannon; Marie Brady, Dublin; David Tansey, Yambo Cross, Elphin and Padraig McDermott, Clooneybrennan, Elphin. The Jackpot now stands at €10,500 and this Saturday’s Draw will be held in Timmys. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.
National GAA Draw
