There was double delight for representatives in the Connacht Scór Finals in Tubbercurry with our Leiriu Actors retaining the title and Sylvia Regan winning the Sean Nós Dancing title. The Leiriu team go forward to the All-Ireland Final in the Waterfront Theatre in May. Well done to our Set Dancers who did the Club proud and our new Table Quiz Team who finished third in the County Final. This saw Elphin claim the Roscommon Scór Club of the Year title – Congratulations to all involved.
Adult Football
Best of luck to Fintan, Shane and the Roscommon Seniors against Cavan on Sunday in Dr Hyde Park. The Juniors host Kilglass Gaels on Saturday at 6pm.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
The Elphin-Ballinameen Minors game versus Tulsk was postponed. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm and they’re due to face Oran away on Sunday at 11am. Best of luck to Aaron Brady and the Roscommon Minors against Galway on Saturday at 3:30pm in Boyle.
The U14 suffered a 3-3 to 5-7 defeat to St Dominics on Saturday. It was a very entertaining game throughout with plenty of stand-out performances. Best for the home side were Daniel Christie, Danny Traynor, Dylan Scott, Thomas McGrath, Alan Gormley (1-0), Cian Beirne, Declan Main, Adam Dwyer (1-3), John Finnerty, James McNamara and the returning Kyle Casey, who scored a goal soon after his introduction.

Everyone Coaching / Assisting with Underage teams must be a registered Club Member and must be Garda Vetting. An application for vetting can be completed at vetting.garda.ie
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Sunday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 11, 16, 21 and 29. The Lucky Dip winners were Eamon McCormack (USA), Mary Finnerty, Kevin & Alice Brennan and Deirdre Kennedy. The Jackpot now stands at €11,600 and this Saturday’s Draw will be held in The Central Bar. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here.
Elphin GAA Membership
Club Membership must be renewed by this Saturday and can be paid here now using your Credit or Debit Card. Club Members will be entitled to vote at our AGM and can apply for the GAA’s GRMA Membership Card which entitles the bearer to discounts and offers. The current offer includes a discount at Elverys.

Anyone with Video/DVD Footage of old Club Matches or events is asked to contact Peter Carney, Mick Rock or Mick Maye. All items received will be used for a “Reeling in the Years” style Social Night!
