Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
The Elphin-Ballinameen U14s defeated St Croans by 7-6 to 2-6 in the opening game of the Garda Cup on Thursday. It was a very entertaining game throughout and both teams gave it their all. There were stand out performances from Cian Beirne, Declan Main, Christopher Sibanda, James McNamara, Daniel Christie, Alan Gormley, Jack Durr, who scored 1-2 and John Finnerty who scored 3-1.
Thank you to St Barrys for hosting the Elphin-Ballinameen Go Games Teams in Blitzes on Saturday morning. A great day was had by all and this Saturday we host Strokestown.

Coach Mentoring
Elphin GAA has been selected by Roscommon GAA Coaching and Games Development to participate in a Coach Mentoring programme. One of the aims of the programme is to see what elements of coaching and coach education the Club can improve on. Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 8, 23, 26 and 29. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Rossa O’Callaghan; Mary Maye; Olivia O’Brien and Roscommon Angus c/o Padraig O’Connor. The Jackpot remains at the upper limit of €12,000 and this weekend’s Draw will be held in The Central Bar. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now here .
