Elphin GAA Update February 19th

Elphin Ballinameen Underage Update

The Elphin Ballinameen U14 and Minor fixtures were postponed last weekend and will be rescheduled at a later date. The U16’s play Tulsk on Saturday next at 12pm in the Orchard.

Adult Football

Well done to the seniors who got the 2019 season off to a winning start, defeating Michael Glaveys on Sunday last on a scoreline of 2.15 to 6 points.

ABC programme

The Agility, Balance and Coordination (ABC) programme starts this Friday the 22nd of February from 6:30 – 7:15pm for 4 and 5 year olds and 7:15 – 8:00pm for 6 and 7 year olds in Elphin Community Centre. All children in the parishes are welcome to attend. Registration is available on the night as all players must be registered. Forms can be downloaded from here: Adult Youth.

Operation Transformation / Ireland Lights Up:

Continues on Thursday evening in the Orchard. Well done to all who have taken part so far, this is the final evening of the event, we hope you all enjoyed it and thank you for your support we hope to see you all again on Thursday evening for 1 final walk!

Health and Well-being Seminar

The club is hosting a Health and Well-being Seminar on the 1st of March at 8pm in the Day Care Centre. There will be 3 speakers on the night, Justin Campbell, Mark McGrath and Amanda McLoone. Topics covered will be addiction,mental health and diet and nutrition. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.

Elphin GAA Lotto:

There was no Jackpot winner of this week’s lotto jackpot. The Numbers drawn were 10, 22, 28 & 29. The Lucky Dip winners were Neilis Darcy, Martin & Eileen Sweeney, Seán Farrell, Dublin and Olivia Kelly, Boyle. Next week’s jackpot is €10,300 and will take place in Timmy’s. Entry is just €2, Envelopes are available in local shops or you can play here.
