Elphin LGFA Update

Our u8 and u10 girls teams finished on Monday with games away to the Eire Og. A massive thanks to Triona, Debbie, Niamh, Sarah & Chloe for looking after these teams this year.
Our 12 girls played the last of their summer 7-a-side games in Castlerea where they also played Shannon Gaels & Roscommon Gaels. The last football for these girls this year will be a blitz on Sunday 8th next in Croghan.
Our u14 girls were unfortunate to come up short against the Roscommon Gaels girls in their Div 3b Championship Final. Playing under lights in Kilbride both teams played fantastic and with great determination throughout. The manner in which our girls have improved over the course of this year means the future of ladies football in Elphin & Kilmore is bright.
Our u16’s continue their championship with an away game to St. Croans on Tuesday.
Finally, anyone wishing to travel on our now annual club outing to the Ladies All Ireland finals on Sunday the 15th Sept should contact John Keane, Club Secretary asap to book their seat.
