Elphin GAA Update August 10th

Next weekend the Senior Team take on St Brigids in the last game of the group on Saturday at 7.00pm in Kiltoom. Due to covid 19 restrictions we are again limited to the number of supporters that can attend. In order to give more club supporters an opportunity to attend we are asking that only 2 members of each household enter the draw and also that everyone who enters are over 16. If you wish to apply for one of these tickets please email the club secretary [email protected] . The draw will take place on Friday evening and broadcast on facebook.com/ELPHINGAA .

The Juniors also take on Clann na Gael B in Kilteevan at 4.00pm on Sunday. Tickets for that game is available on the Roscommon GAA website / contact [email protected] for further details.

We would like to wish the Seniors and the Juniors the very best of luck in their games.

Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Update

The Minors were defeated by St Ciarans in the opening round of the Championship on a scoreline of 1-7 to 2-12, the U16’s lost to a stronger Oran/St. Croans and also to Padraig Pearses on a score of 4-12 to 3-8. The U12’s Div 5 lost to St. Barry’s. Hard luck lads.

Fixtures
Elphin Ballinameen U14’s are home to St Ciarans on Tuesday at 7pm. They play Strokestown in Strokestown on Thursday at 7pm.

The U12’s Div 2 team play Western Gaels in Ballinameen on Monday at 7pm while the Div 5 team are home to St. Ronan’s on Saturday. Time to be confirmed.

The club wishes Daniel Christie a speedy recovery following his injury an injury picked up in a recent U16 game.
