The Juniors lost out in a hard-fought championship semi-final against St. Brigids, it was a tight game for the most part but a few handling errors and an unfortunate red card incident early in the second half badly hampered the progress of the Elphin team. Final score Elphin 0-9 St. Brigids 2-9.
Connacht Champions!
The Elphin club was well represented in the Connacht Senior Scór Finals held in Tubbercurry on Saturday evening. They are now champions in the Novelty Act and the Solo Singing. They will be representing Connacht in the upcoming All-Ireland Finals, to be held in the INEC Killarney on November 18th.
