Elphin Ballinamean Round-Up
Hard luck to the minor team, who lost out to St Dominic’s in the quarter-final of the championship. Thank you to the management and players for the commitment and effort all year.
Well done to the U12 team, who had a great game against St Michaels/St Ronans last week. They play St Aidan’s in Ballyforan on Monday evening and Kilbride in Kilbride on Wednesday evening.
Good luck to our U14 blue team who play Clan na nGael in the quarter-final of the championship on Tuesday evening in Johnstown.

Orchard Park Update August 2026
We thank all our generous sponsors and supporters for the incredible backing you have given the Orchard Park Project. Your support is helping us transform our facilities for the benefit of current and future generations.
We are delighted to let you know that the project is now moving into its next phase, which will include the construction of a new toilet block and club shop at an estimated cost of €25,000.
Our new all-weather astro pitch is now fully operational and proving to be a fantastic addition to the club.
Over the past few weeks, we have also installed a range of new sponsor signs for businesses joining our existing sponsors. The signage around Orchard Park looks superb and has added greatly to the overall appearance of the grounds. It is wonderful to see so many local businesses investing in both their community and the future of Elphin GAA.
As sponsorship spaces continue to fill, we would encourage any business interested in promoting their company while supporting this exciting development to get in touch. We also have some seats in the new stand still available for sponsorship by families and individuals wishing to leave a lasting legacy at Orchard Park.
