Elphin-Ballinameen Update
Well done to the Minor team who defeated Michael Glaveys/Eire Og in the last round of the championship. They now qualify for a quarter-final match against St Dominic’s this evening (Tuesday) at 7 pm in Elphin; please come along and support.
Hard luck to the U16 team, who were defeated by Kilglass/St Barry’s in the final round of the Championship group stages. We await other results to see who we play in the championship quarter-finals.
Well done to our yellow U14 team and Blue U14 team, who both had wins in the final stages of the championship. The Blue team now play Clan na nGael this evening (Tuesday) at 7 pm in Johnstown in the quarter-finals.

Thank you to St James GAA Club in Galway, who invited our U11 team to the annual Darragh Frain tournament on Saturday; the group had a great day out.
Thanks also to St Aidan’s GAA Club, who invited our U14 team to the Kevin Carthy Memorial Tournament. The group performed really well and had an excellent day out.

Orchard Park Update August 2026
We would like to thank all of our generous sponsors and supporters for the incredible backing you have given the Orchard Park Project. Your support is helping us transform our facilities for the benefit of current and future generations.
We are delighted to let you know that the project is now moving into its next phase, which will include the construction of a new toilet block and club shop at an estimated cost of €25,000.
Our new all-weather astro pitch is now fully operational and proving to be a fantastic addition to the club.
Over the past number of weeks, we have also installed a range of new sponsor signs for businesses joining our existing sponsors. The signage around Orchard Park looks superb and has added greatly to the overall appearance of the grounds. It is wonderful to see so many local businesses investing in both their community and the future of Elphin GAA.
As sponsorship spaces continue to fill, we would encourage any business interested in promoting their company while supporting this exciting development to get in touch. We also have some seats in the new stand still available for sponsorship by families and individuals wishing to leave a lasting legacy at Orchard Park.
