The club extends sympathy to the Costello family, Chapel Street, on the passing of Pat. In the 1960s and 1970s Pat ran the hugely popular Annual Sports and Athletics Day and the ever popular Donkey Derby in the Orchard. This also involved a road race from Strokestown to Elphin.
