Elphin LGFA:

Our U16’s lost to Kilbride Tuesday evening in Kilmore where again, they were low in numbers and had to play girls from their U14 panel. Thank you to the U14’s for stepping up in these last few matches. That brings to an end the U16 2019 season. Big thank you to their mentors Steve Holmes, Damien Hanrahan, Jamie Sharkey, Josie Munnelly and Geraldine Shanagher for their time, efforts and commitment throughout the year.

We held our end of year party for the U8’s & U10’s in Jump Street Carrick-on-Shannon last Saturday and great fun was had by all.

On Sunday the club set off on the annual trip to the Ladies All-Ireland Finals in Croke Park. This trip is subsidised by Elphin LGFA as a token of appreciation to all the girls and parents involved with the club throughout the year.
